TUPU Week

HLC/LTTM was delighted to recently host Minster Aupito William Sio, Minister for Pacific Peoples; Minister Carmel Sepuloni, Minster of Social Development and Employment and Otaki MP Terisa Ngobi to celebrate the success of the Tupu Aotearoa Programme in the Horowhenua.

Tupu Aotearoa supports Pacific people to gain tools and skills that enable them to thrive.

The programme connects Pacific people with local employers and supports them to access work or learning opportunities on a journey to employment, further training or study;

Through individualised support we ensure Pacific People in the region have the right tools, education, training and employment opportunities to succeed.

Current and former participants of the programme spoke of their experience and how Tupu has had a positive impact on their lives. They were supported by Tupu Aotearoa Employment Consultant Tessa Feomaia.
