Course Information

Understand budgeting, flatting and the impact your vote can have on New Zealand politics. Gain confidence in your own communication skills and get to know our community better as a pathway to employment and preparation for adult life. You will learn numerous problem solving strategies and with the focus on applying these life skills at a personal level for relevant contextual experience.

Qualifications

On successful completion of the course students will receive: NZ Certificate in Foundation Skills Level 2

This programme is an excellent starting point for those seeking employment and the skills to gain employment effectively.

Students looking to pursue future tertiary study will gain credits towards NCEA Level 2 and a wide array of skills that will aide in preparing them for both the academic and lifestyle requirements involved in tertiary study.

- No age restriction
- Cannot be enrolled in secondary school
